About Me

As a self-taught, lifelong artist, I'm always looking for the next opportunity to translate my vision and experiences into artistic expressions.

My current body of work explores the intersection of form and illusion through the medium of wood. By weaving together traditional woodturning techniques with an imaginative approach, I create pieces that play with perception, inviting viewers to question what they see.

My forms and patterns are often inspired by nature; the feathers of a peacock or scales of exotic fish are transformed into precise mathematical patterns that complement the form of each hand-turned wooden vessel. Embellishments with pyrography and India Ink blur the lines between craftsmanship and illusion, creating works that provoke curiosity and inspire wonder in the simplest of forms.
